--Legendary Swiss-French Architect, Designer, Painter, Urban Planner and Writer.

From leaving primary school to learn watchmaking at the École des Arts Décoratifs at La Chaux-de-Fonds in the world's center of precision watchmaking…

To meeting his mentor who decided that Le Corbusier should become an architect despite having no formal training. Le Corbusier was dedicated to providing better living conditions for the residents of crowded cities and was influential in urban planning. He has over 17 projects in seven countries inscribed in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. He also was a recipient of the AIA Gold Medal, the Grand Officiers of the Légion d'honneur, an honorary degree and the University of Cambridge and was a pioneer of modern architecture.
